My PMS is kicking my ass…though really it is just forcing me to mentally and verbally kick others’ asses. I’m drinking a little whiskey to take the edge off (hopefully) but I wanted to do a check-in to say that so far I am on schedule for my 10k training.
Yesterday I did strength training – all upper body and I hated every second of it. Still, I think I did it for a full 40 minutes thanks to the Body for Life schedule. I also did a 10 minute warm-up on the treadmill.
Today really kicked my ass but I’m happy to say I finished it. 4 miles in 40 minutes 30 seconds.
I’d also like to report that although I am feeling (and weighing) rather fatly (not a word), I have been eating really well the last two days and feel like I can keep it up. Tonight I’ll be having a few drinks and some sushi and hopefully it’ll be just what I need to turn my frown upside down.
